I wrote the chorus of this song to a drum loop in our DeepSeeStudios in early 2001, we teased the rest of the song out, but left it on a hard drive for more than 2 years (we thought it was too slow for our live set). It only surfaced in 2003 when looking for extra songs to record with producer Charlie Francis for our debut album. The song came into its own when it was remixed by uber-producer Jim Abbiss and his henchman Joe Wilson at Mayfair Studios on midsummer's eve, June 20003. After leaving the studio, I distinctly remember celebrating the solstice (all night long) on Primrose Hill, Camden.
